Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 75 billion through two offerings on Sunday, 21 December.
The first tranche is valued at EGP 25 billion, holding a tenor of 91 days until 24 March 2026, according to official data.
With a maturity period of 273 days until 22 September next year, the second auction stood at EGP 50 billion.
On 18 December, the CBE unveiled T-bills worth EGP 85 billion through two tranches.
